Competition Rules
Competition Format
The Business Ethics Microfilm Competition consists of two stages: the Preliminary Round and the Final Round. During the Preliminary Round, each team is required to submit a microfilm proposal, including a screenplay and production plan, based on the competition theme. Teams advancing to the Final Round shall produce a microfilm in accordance with their approved proposal.
Preliminary Round
-
The Preliminary Round will be conducted through electronic submission. Each team must upload its proposal to the designated cloud storage platform no later than 11:59 PM on November 1, 2026.
-
Based on the evaluation results, the top six teams will be selected to advance to the Final Round.
Final Round
-
Finalist teams shall produce a 5–7 minute microfilm (including opening and closing credits) based on the approved proposal. Technical specifications and submission requirements are provided in the Competition Guidelines.
-
During the Final Round, each microfilm will be screened on-site in an order randomly assigned by the organizer. Following each screening, the judging panel will conduct a 5-minute question-and-answer session. Teams that fail to attend the Final Round will be deemed to have withdrawn from the competition.
-
Finalist teams must upload their completed microfilm to the designated cloud storage platform no later than 11:59 PM on December 7, 2026. Late submissions will not be accepted and will be considered a withdrawal from the competition.
-
Team members participating in the Final Round must be the same as those registered for the Preliminary Round. In cases of force majeure, one substitute team member may be permitted, provided that the organizer is notified in advance.
-
Following the Final Round, the judging panel will determine the recipients of the First Place, Second Place, Third Place, and three Merit Awards. Awards, medals (or certificates), and cash prizes will be presented according to the final rankings.
